Kids with F/40 Sub Members

HAHAHAH F/40 Members with KIDS:

Hi guys,

This question came up in the discord so I thought I'd give you my 2 cents as I have 2 kids (almost 6yo and 9.5yo) that play with other sub-members. BY THE WAY, THIS IS NOT "OFFICIAL" STANCE, but my thoughts on an issue which comes up a lot.

  1. set your game mode to INVITE ONLY - this will be your BEST FRIEND. This way, no one will be able to "randomly" enter your game/lobby and you will be a REQUEST TO JOIN your game. HOWEVER, if someone joins your game and they ARE NOT set to INVITE ONLY, their friends can then join your game. this happens to me a lot as i'm invite only but one of my son's friends is not so i get a lot of random guests when i'm with him and they keep saying "who is this lady" etc etc. only 1 of the kids have been disrespectful so it hasn't been too much of a problem and they know who i am (and i know their parents).
  2. if i'm in your group, you may hear one of my kids on the headset as they like to say hi to my teammates (and they usually know who i'm playing with). if it's after-school/after-dinner/weekend, there's a chance that my squad is with one of my kids or their friends (some of whom are super sweaty but need to learn about mic etiquette).
  3. similarly, if you're in a game with me and my kid wants to play, I let the "new" person know that my child needs to be "friends" with them in order for them to hear you and to talk to you. You are free to decide whether you want to, or not. Also, you can always delete them as a "friend" after the game(s). Also, if you don't "want" to play with me bc of my kid, that's cool too.
  4. there "shouldn't" be any "kid" accounts directly from the SUB or DISCORD. if you discover that an name you obtained from either REDDIT or DISCORD for F/40, please let one of the MODs know so we can address it.

At the end of the day, as this sub does include a lot of parents who started playing FN because of their kids, you may end up in a lobby with a kid. if you would rather not play with any kids, or if the kid mic spams too much, just say, i'm going to go, find me later, etc. and i'm sure the parent/adult player won't mind.
