Went to the Lobster Place tonight
This isn't really a review I just had dinner there. So I had to get my monthly sushi fix a barely remembered the shop/restaurant from another eatery in the Chelsea Market. With some help from a redditor who reminded me of the restaurants name I decided to go there. The place is huge I'm thinking they're a seafood shop first and a restaurant second but you can buy raw seafood to go and the sell cooked seafood to eat there. When you enter there is no one to seat you because the seafood shop is up front and people tend to congregate upfront to look at the seafood on ice. If you walk further in you'll see the sushi counter with stools for sitting. The stools have signs saying to "see a server for seating, There were several empty stools so I had a seat then double checked with the sever on the availability of seating and he said anywhere is ok lol. I checked out the menu and ordered the Negi Toro Don as I hadn't had a sushi bowl in a while. I waited about 10 minutes or so for my order to arrive meanwhile I took advantage of the lively atmosphere there and people watched them low and behold my food had arrived. The food was good as I wondered how I'd eat chopped tuna with chopsticks but I did it go me. The Negi Toro Don was very good but had warm rice which didn't matter to me I know to some it's a big deal. Next up was a shrimp tempura roll which was good on its own a satisfied my monthly sushi craving. You can order other seafood and eat it at the sushi counter as well but they charge you separately.I've included some pictures for those of you who may want to go to the Lobster Place one day. I'm planning on going back to get some lobster or other seafood hopefully soon.
