Oral allergy syndrome?

What started as an off/on sore throat with a bump or two on the tongue has now turned into a more intense reaction that seems to happen after I eat. It’s been nearly constant but definitely comes and goes. Right now it’s focused mostly on the tip of my tongue with a patch of bumps. It painful and itches. I take anti histamines daily and even doubled the dose once I started getting the bumps. Maybe it could be worse without the allergy meds but it’s still an issue. Any suggestions? Advice?
