Spool jams
Hi I'm pretty new to this, and this is my second spool. I had no issues with my first spool of PLA that came with the printer (CR-10 Max) and jams. This spool of eSun PLA+, I changed the nozzle from 0.4mm to 0.8mm. At least 5 times within 3 hours of the first print, the spool got stuck as shown, and i would have to fix it. I unravelled a bunch by hand, and noticed the same snags over and over throughout the spool. I read that it's unlikely a manufacturing issue, so I'm not sure what the problem is?
The spool is definitely unravelling faster due to the nozzle change, but never excessively, as to not be in tension.
The print ended up being ruined because of this when i didn't catch it getting stuck in time.
Is this a me/settings/setup issue or a spool issue? Thanks!
