RDR2 just opening the rockstar launcher after adding it to non-steam game

At first, the game launched when I just launched it from the folder. However, I made a mistake by adding it as a non-Steam game. Now, whenever I try to launch it, it just keeps opening the Rockstar launcher. I tried launching it again directly from the folder, but it still opens the Rockstar launcher.
