Assets who are being OVERhyped.
With the injury to Saka and the Humbled Haaland Curse (HHC) in full effect there is an excess of money in the game and that vacuum has created shouts for many suboptimal picks.
- Jesus - No one should ever go there. By the time he looks like a pick he has already done his yearly 2 good games and is on a downward trajectory to being the wasteful striker we know. Eventually he will be out of the team for an additional mid in Partey or Merino and Kai at striker.
- TAA - I keep hearing about that famous 24 pointer that is coming soon. All I see is 2 pointers. Slot ball isn't Klopp ball and Trent's head is in Madrid having tapas with Jude. For the double, I think any attacker who doesn't get injured will haul.
- Bruno - Ruud's version of Bruno was actually looking really good in a simple, play your best players in their best position system. Now under Amorim's 3421 that suits no one in the entire team except Amad, Bruno is working his ass off and the results aren't coming and the frustration is definitely showing.
- Phil Foden - OMG he got a bonus point VS Everton. The PFA POTS is going to cook? Right?
- Odegaard - Love him as a player but he's not going to have clear roots to points even with pens and sometimes corners. If Jesus is bombed out his chances improve as he moves further up with Kai not being the highest attacking mid. Still you are hoping for worldies and pens. Also with Saka out, Martin will do more defensive work as Martinelli won't help out as much.
- Crystal Palace Picks - I'm seeing 3X Palace suggested in Wild Cards. I get it, Palace just drew with Bournemouth, they are looking fantastic after that season changing result. Southampton are the best team in the world to get points against as Haaland TC'ers will attest to. But manage your expectations. Munoz is the ONLY one worth getting because he is cheap enough to hide.
