I want recommendations for an epic fantasy book/series.

I want a book or book series like LoTR, or the inheritance cicle. An epic fantasy, high fantasy, in a medieval background, maybe even a dark lord, that is not grimdark, and maybe add a little romance in it. I want to feel like a kid discovering a great new book again…
