Supportive bf with my fanfics

So i’ve been dating my bf for 1,5 years (honestly isnt too relevant to the question). He recently found out i’ve been writing m x m fanfics of anime characters and was super supportive.

And for some reason i can’t bring myself to show him my work. It makes me a blushing mess and i just can’t bring myself to show him any of it.

Is that normal? Is it really normal to have such supportive partners? It confuses me so much ‘cause i’ve never had anyone that didn’t look at me weirdly when i mentioned fanfiction.
