Departure time cold weather

Hey everyone. I got a new 24 flash back in November. I've been using departure times since I got it with no real issues until recently. When I unplug and get into the truck the SOC will say 90% but will drop to 88% before I even leave my driveway. It is cold currently in NJ(-1 were I live) so that's obviously a factor but should that happen so suddenly even with preconditioning the battery?
