Hit and run on foot

This morning some teenagers hit my baby after they ran a stop light. My truck barely moved from the impact, but they went flying across the street into some bushes. I immediately called 911 approached the car to see if they were ok. There was one person who said he was ok. He gathered some things on the front seat and ran on foot. Turns out the car was stolen and witnesses saw the other youths flee with guns… Wild right? I’m very grateful that I’m ok. I hope Insurance totals her but I’ve learned to be careful for what I wish and not to get my hopes up. What do you guys think?
