Living with local people or students?? HELP

Hello I am between two flats, one closer to the university in rome but with older italian girls (older I mean late twenties or maybe 30 and I am 23), and the other one further away and next to the train rails but with other female students. I know no one so I am anxious because I was about to choose the first appartment but the I had after thoughts that living with other students must be more fun. Am I going to ruin my experience by living with locals???
