Tips to Find Businesses For Sale

I sold my first business earlier this year and eager to become a business owner once again (corporate america sucks). Instead of another start-up I am interested in purchasing an existing business. How would you recommend identifying an existing business for potential sale? Even if the business is not posted for sale.

Yes I know the typical websites with business for sale but ideally I can find a local boomer looking to retire. I've exhausted my inner network circle and need to find new leads.

I'm considering joining local Chamber of Commerce and extending my network. Thoughts?
