Designed my first sampler!
I've done 3 sampler hoops and one "real" pattern before this. I'm having so much fun and learning so much, but didn't have much confidence I could confidentiality do most of those stitches again.
So here is my project of 30s: - approximately 30 hours of researching all the ways I could embroider flowers (from so many sources!) - 30 hours of stitching - 30 colours - and practicing nearly 30 different stitches. (It depends on which you "count" as distinct stitches, of course, since there seems to be lots of debate.)
This is also the first time I've used stabilizer or dark fabric, and the first time I've properly finished the back of a hoop (far from perfectly).
There are some minor stitching errors and it's of course slightly off centre in the hoop, but I figure that can all be part of the horrors. Perfectionism be damned.
I'm pretty happy with this! 😊 🥳
