Desk lamp that works with magic?

I have found this old IKEA lamp on the streets, the lamp works but the transformer it's pretty beaten up, so i try to see if it's easy to replace it, trying to remove the cable from the lamp i disassemble the lamp. Opening the juncture i see that there are no cables inside the lamp, so how does the current goes from the base to the bulb?
