Bad/wrong battery voltage
I bought a zero 10x clone 60v from a local seller that clearly orders in bulk from alibaba. Checked the scooter over everything seems ok until I tried to charge it.
It charged until 63.8v then stopped or at least that's what the key ignition says the voltage is. Checked the charger with a multimeter and it charges at 66.7v not great but it's fine. Currently I'm keeping the charger plugged in since I read it still balances the cells even on a green light. So now is the question is the key ignition thing voltage that inaccurate? Or is the battery scuffed? The throttle display shows full battery.
Update: Seller called me back after checking other scooters they all say around 64v. So it seems that most likely the scooters use very inaccurate key ignitions with voltage display. If the weather permits I'll test the scooter on the weekend. Thank you all for your help.
