Segway Customer service is horrible.
Assumed they wouldn’t be, esp what I read in here. But they seem to be just as bad as all the other outsourced companies.
Got a Segway ZT3 Pro and after problems with screws to get handlebars together (still don’t have replacement ones) had to take them out of my F2 Pro to get it out of the box.
Then I heard something and noticed the front wheel was bent and wobbled, and the brake was rubbing.
After days of multiple messages back and forth, sending multiple vids showing it, arguing back and forth that you could clearly see it wobble, they told me to adjust the brake. I did. 2x. They told me to do it again. It didn’t work (not sure how adjusting the brake fixes the wheel that isn’t straight).
Finally they said I could ship to them, and projected 2 weeks to fix it. So min of 3 weeks gone. They also offered me a lame $40 backpack for free to make things right. I passed.
I had this for 2 days and dealt with this much BS.
Boxed up. Sending back to Amazon today.
If they would have at least acted like they care, or sent me a new wheel, all would have been good.
But now I’m sending the F2 pro back because if there is ever an issue. I know how bad it will be.
Segway’s name brand means nothing if they suck as bad as everyone else.
So glad I bought off Amazon even though a little more to get them to handle. Otherwise I’d be screwed.
Found out a shop down the street sales gotrax. Is an authorized repair center. Can do warranty work in house and said they almost never have to, new ones are great. That they use to sell Segway but stopped because of issues and Segway not wanting them to work on them anymore.
