Has anyone noticed that some areas in the DLC are just completely empty?

Save for a few enemies scattered here and there, there's 2 areas that I've visited now where there's just... Nothing. I'm sure there is something if I look hard enough, but the motivation is quickly lost when all I'm finding is one enemy type in a completely empty area.

Mind you, I'm really having fun with the DLC and I think it's an amazing expansion to an already amazing game. I just feel like it could have used a bit more refining in particular areas, you know?

What are your thoughts on these seemingly empty places?
