Real quick question ps5

I'm in my gelmir. Yes I spent a couple hours messing around in that palace farming runes. Question is now that I have the black tithe summon which I might want to use against that boss everyone talks about, should I level up mind in your opinion or maybe use like my wondrous flask or talisman and level up other things?
