Cheaper ways to purchase shipping labels?

Hi, I sold my first item ever today- a ceramic heater for $18 however due to transaction fees and white goods tax as well as the shipping label being deducted out of my earnings, I only receive .45 cents.

I will ship it Tuesday from the post office.

Does anyone have any strategies on cheaper shipping labels?
