Dreaming about murderers and fawning ???!!

I dreamt about being with my mother and another male figure in some sort of property, probably for vacation. I didn't recognize this man, but in my feelings, it felt like he was either my father or my partner. Then I was just looking outside, and I witnessed some shady business going on (it was at night). Three Caucasian men were murdering people, but it wasn't gruesome; it was like a line of people dressed in green (costume vibes tbh like they were dressed as lizards or smth) getting shot by these men. I then pulled my mom aside and tried to find a way out with this male figure that I was with. Before we could make it out, we noticed that the police had come, and they were going door to door trying to ask if the three men they caught were the murderers. When I saw these men, my mom and I knew that they were the suspects; however, I acted so friendly, saying, "Hey, how are you?" They were smug and smiling, knowing that I wouldn't tell on them. But the male figure that I was with immediately said that they were the murderers. My mom and I decided not to say the same and instead said that they were really friendly. Then something happened, the police got distracted. The murderers were about to get away, and before they ran off, they shot the male figure that I was with and spared my mom's and my life. Then I woke up???!

I have been awake for a couple of hours; I can't get over it. I remember the face of that one man, one of the three murderers, clearly, and it just feels so surreal. I can't get over it. I need help. Please tell me what you think.
