Is silencer even playable right now?

With the rework of last word and arcane curse this hero feels so bad rn. So basically you need to get 4 hits off on lane on one target within a very limited time gap just to deal damage with your passive. Arcane curse no longer deals base damage or bonus damage to silenced targets. Your only reliable silence atm is global, which is GLOBAL. The radius of last word is so underwhelming that you might as well put points in stats. Basically you have a nuke less and a silence less. How is this hero better than it was? And it was already borderline unplayable.
