DG disaster .

So first time ever posting here . I’ve worked for dg for 5 months . From the very beginning I knew my manager was messy and two faced . But recently the line was crossed . My grandma passed away recently and I wasn’t going to take off due to personal issues . But the night before her funeral my AM came to me and told me that my SM was trying to convince my coworkers AND customers that I was lying about the situation and that I tried to take off this weekend ( which was 100% not true ) . My AM is messy asf too so I didn’t really know what to believe so I was literally infuriated that they thought I would make up something that serious . (FYI she also had the online obituary until I could receive the copy of the death certificate)

I ultimately messaged my SM and told her I know what you said and it’s basically fuck you and I’m going to the funeral . Up at left immediately and told her figure it tf out .

My SM has been starting problems between people since day one and then trying to play peace maker or absolutely playing victim as if she didn’t say what she said .

I am beyond fed up , and this isn’t the first instance she has accused me of lying about very serious things . My dad is a retired army vet who has had heart surgery three times and occasionally goes into afib . She also said I was lying about that when I had to call out one day to take him to the emergency room . I have only called out TWO times since working there and they were both serious matters . Not to mention I’m so overworked and under fucking paid . I do the job of her so much it literally sickens me .

Any way I am seriously thinking about reaching out to my dm and talking to her but also scared at the same time because I REALLY need this job . Please let me know what y’all would do .
