Dog Smell

This is just kind of a ironic story, though no really a big deal. My niece, whom I've mentioned in several posts, because she works with dogs, recently had to acquire a more potent laundry detergent to get that smell out of her clothes.

Oh, she loves dogs, but I think in time, she may come to realize things that most people overlook. She is a dog bather at a pet retailer. She's aspiring to be a groomer. Thus she is with dogs all day long, every day she works. She has found that since she was washing all her clothes together, that even her non work clothes were smelling like dog. Newflash!!! Dogs stink!!!! And it's not just superficial. I don't know why she doesn't just seperate her laundry to begin with, but at any rate, she had to find a much more powerful detergent than what she had been using, to eradicate the strong odor. What she does for a living is gross, and even she admits it. I mean, the whole anal gland thing, and cleaning up when they piss and shit at random. I hope the light bulb continues to go off. I am thankful that she does not come around me after her work, and she doesn't live with me. She does shower and have clean clothes when she comes by, but I really wish she work find something else in time. She's not getting any younger, and due to indecisiveness really didn't have a sense of direction about career goals. She does like dogs, and animals in general, so she tolerates it, but she herself noticed the smell was still in her clothing even after washing.
