GF feels her dinosaurs are too weak

She is playing MTG because I got her into it, but her favourite deck is her dinosaurs and she is struggling to tell what cards to add/remove to make this faster and stronger. She loves Jurassic park so has added a few of those into it but her deck isn't keeping pace with my Hakbal merfolk tribal anymore or even a few of our friends decks because she gets seen as a threat (at valid times) and stopped before she can do her win cons. She often gets mana starved, or has to wait too many turns to cast things due to stax or board wipes decimating her. already discussed adding things like greater good but with so few graveyard recursion we feel its... not really a good idea to sac things for cards that she is unlikely to get back when they all synergise well.

Edit: she asked me to post and ask, I am not building her deck for her, she didn't know she had a reddit account to begin with, and only found out an hour after I posted this. She is reading the comments so she will probably take these into acount and she is thankful for all the suggestions and support. She will be rebuilding her deck in a few hours.
