WoW, what happened to the population?

I haven't played in a year, basically i quit right after the 2 month long fang shin jumping event ended but decided to check out omegamon today and dang what happened? Dats only had 5 channels and none of them we're full and then i decided to start a new character and only saw 3 people in all of silver lake, 2 of which were patamon bots.

Like sheesh is anyone even playing anymore?
