This is a short scene from my post-apocalyptic marshpunk/swampcore fantasy inspired by Cajun and Tejano culture, as well as Haitian Vodun. General critique is welcome, but I am especially interested in how clearly I've presented the world/technology as well as the character's internal struggle.
