I tested to see if those damage changes, listed here: https://www.bungie.net/7/en/News/Article/patch_notes_8_1_5_3

If those would apply to PVE and they do.

Findings:

Heavy Burst Sidearms:

- Received ~9-10% damage buff to body and crit damage

Rapid Fire Auto Rifles:

- Received ~1% damage buff to body and crit damage

High Impact Pulse Rifles:

- Received ~2% damage nerf to body and crit damage

Lightweight Pulse Rifles:

- Received ~20% damage buff to body damage, and 1% to crit damage

Lightweight Scout Rifles:

- Received 18% damage buff to body damage, and 1% to crit damage

The only thing notable was the buffs to the heavy burst sidearms, which is nice. All others are mostly body shot damage which isn't anything too exciting, but I just wanted to post this since sometimes damage changes (buffs and nerfs) in PVP do translate over to PVE.
