For anyone who thinks losing this weekend is better for the Broncos

Right now, the Broncos and Raiders have the exact same SoS. If the Raiders beat the Broncos their SoS goes down while ours goes up, bad for us for draft order. The Broncos and Raiders have almost the same schedule, minus 3 games. We played the Commanders, Browns and Texans. The Raiders played the Steelers, Giants and Colts. Those 6 teams could really determine if we bump up ahead of the Raiders or stay behind them. The Colts and Texans play each other and if the Texans win that bumps the Raiders SoS down while bumping our SoS up, another bad for draft positioning.

So, I guess if you really want the Broncos to extend their losing streak to jockey for draft positioning you'll want to root for Steelers, Giants, Colts, Cowboys and Bengals

Right now I think our highest possible draft position is 11 and lowest is 18, middle of the pack. If the Broncos lose, looking at the rest of the games, I'd say we move up to 12. If the Broncos win I'd guess we would probably pick at 16. 4 picks difference is not nearly enough for me to worry about in the draft.

Just beat the Raiders.
