Long distance runs with Boxer

I have been considering different breeds recently to adopt because I really want to get a dog. I am a runner and I would love to run with my dog on longer distance runs (anywhere from 2-7 miles)

I am considering a getting a boxer, would that be a reasonable breed in y’all’s personal experience to get if I want to run with my dog? Or is their short muzzle just too big of a dampener on their ability to not overheat
