This is definitely tumbled, right?
I found this in a dry wash near a creekbed where it sometimes floods, way off in the woods. This is from the Sierra foothills of Northern California, in Gold Country.
It looks like tumbled/polished crystal to me, but it was a really odd place to find something like that randomly discarded. But it has to be, right? Is there any way something like this could happen naturally?
It has some small imperfections on the top of the thinner end but is otherwise smooth.
Also, what is it? Just some purple-looking quartz? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
