When did you consider yourself knowledgeable enough to create your first portfolio?

So after talking with some co-workers I got interested in crypto. After I did some reading I saw a huge potential. Not just money wise, but in the tech stuff in general.

I've spend a good amount of hours just learning the basics, scrolling through endles topics, articles and listening to some podcasts to understand just what a blockchain is, how smart contracts work, etc. Even now I still feel like I don't know enough.

I've decided I want to put €250 into crypto. Still in college, for a first time investing in ANYTHING I feel like that's enough to start. I'll DCA on a monthly basis. Plan to hodl. Living in Europe I came across Bitvavo which seemed respectable in Europe, so I'm going with that to buy whatever I want to invest in. I want to create a diversed portfolio.

Now the thing is, I don't know when I could consider myself ready to buy in. After just understanding the basics, I'm just now reading what Etherium is and does in general. I've found some tips online on what to look for before buying in and I plan to do that on everything I'm considering buying.

But still, it seems silly to just start buying something after like a week of research. But then again, everyone says it'd have been better if I started yesterday anyway.

So I guess I'm just looking for some insights on what other people did before buying in. Would love to hear some thoughts ;).
