First time cruising family, over thinking

Hello!

We (40m, 46f, 14m, 9f) are planning to cruise next year for spring break. Our dates are locked to April 19-27 2025 because of this. We have done our research and found the RC symphony has places we want to see and activities for the kids. They are most excited about the pool. This is a 7 bought cruise and we would like to have an ocean balcony room. The price is coming to $4500 usd. This seems like a lot for us but don’t know what cruises honestly cost. Is this out of line?

Also, what’s the best way to book? Just at the RC website?

Any other tips would help… we are really hoping the ship has an amazing water park.
