Cruise recommendation for the Christmas holidays? It’s our first time and we’re lost.

Hi everyone, my wife(30F) and I(33M) have always wanted to go on a cruise. We stay in Toronto, Canada. We were wondering if someone had any suggestion for the following:

1) Which location would you recommend for December/January travel? We were thinking the Caribbean. 2) Which cruise offers the most value for money in your experience? Def willing to pay for a better cruise experience. 3) Any recommendations on platforms to get good deals?
