Colonoscopy/ Endoscopy

I did all of the blood and stool tests and it’s clear I have IBD ( I have family history as well) and they scheduled a colonoscopy and endoscopy next Thursday for biopsies. I have a lot of trauma surrounding anesthesia so I’m trying to avoid this at all costs..Has anyone chosen to decline the endoscopy and just do colonoscopy so you’re awake?
