Bomb Rush Cyberfunk crashes after computer being powered off while running it

Exactly that. Yesterday I was happily playing Bomb Rush Cyberfunk when suddenly power went down and my PC Shut down. Now it crashes on startup right after pressing a key to load the game in the initial screen. Reinstalling the game didn't work and installing after uninstalling didn't help at all. I also don't wanna lose my progress because I got decently far, almost finishing chapter 4 I believe.

Idk. It's very unfortunate, because power went back up just a few seconds later. Will I have to delete my save file or something?

I'm using Fitgirl's repack btw, just thought it might help to include it.

Update: I managed to fix it. The game automatically makes a backup save, so it was as easy as going to userdir/AppData/LocalLow/Team Reptile and replacing the likely corrupt save file with the backup. Works like a charm.
