AMG Lab: A Modern Day Bullshit Story
I ordered this timer on March 20, 2023. After a month, I started to wonder if I actually ordered it, since I hadn’t received an order confirmation. Around June, I received an email offering the OLED “upgrade” with the promise of faster delivery. I responded with an estimate on when this version would be shipping, with no response. Around September, I started emailing monthly requesting status updates, and every single one went unanswered. Last Friday, April 5, 2024, I finally received an email with a tracking number, and it showed up today on April 10th.
I ordered the AMG because I had used it at local USPSA matches and liked it, however the customer service from Alex at AMG Lab is the worst I’ve ever personally experienced. It even beats Lafe Kunkel of GX Products. Had I known it was going to take this long and receive ZERO communication, I would have gone with another timer.
Tl;dr - The AMG Lab Commander is a great timer, but unless you want to wait a year or more, go with something else.
