Cable box hot - table finish damaged
My 6 month old xfinity cable box is 127 degrees F, it has destroyed the finish on the table, and it powers off everyday at random times. It is a rented box, so they will replace it, right? Sadly no.
At 11am, It takes hours to get to a person, they “ordered” the replacement and it will arrive TODAY, the tracking number will be emailed to me.
At 8pm I spent 30 minutes getting to a support person, they said the tracking number HAD BEEN MAILED to me, and the cable box would arrive today still.
It is 3am and no tracking number email and no box was delivered by FedEx yesterday.
This is a FIRE HAZARD, and support is lying to me.
