Anyone else feel this way about toxic gossip train?

I’ve heard a lot of theories about why exactly Colleen chose to address this the way she did in the ‘hi.’ video. Alot of them seem like they could be the explanation, because to be frank it has no rational explanation. The thing that makes the least sense is that she chose to handle this MUSICALLY.

Something Adam said stuck with me. He said that she believes she is the best singer ever. She considers her singing to be a gift to anyone who hears it, etc. Does anyone else maybe surmise that because she knew she would have the whole internet’s attention, she couldn’t help but make it about her singing voice/songwriting?

One of my running theories is that main reason she made it a song was because she just had to force everyone to listen to her sing at least one more time before the inevitable and swift downturn of her career or what’s left of it. Idk just a theory.
