Hi thengas, anyone who has studied in colleges outside Kerala, how was it?

I know not much can be said regarding tips, but I'm a bit worried about how it's going to be, especially after knowing that I'm the only South Indian in our class. Class whatsapp group il okke katti Hindi kaanumbazhe enikk entho oru uneasy feeling pole, because that's how it's going to be in class as well (I only understand Hindi at a very basic level.) so I don't expect them to talk in English just for one person alone. I'm really worried that I might end up being alone because of all this.

I'll be joining tomorrow, so the anxiety is already hitting me. I opted to go outside Kerala since I felt I had to get out of the comfort that my parents provided. But now I'm kinda regretting it thinking about the language barrier that I'm gonna face. So those who've studied outside Kerala, how did it turn out for u guys?
