Can you go just for headliner?

Hi! I’m not a festival girlie, the crowds and portapotties give me anxiety but I’m considering getting a ticket just to see my fav band headlining. Is it possible to get close-ish to the stage? Can you find out about what time headliners play? Is it safe to go alone? I’d love advice from anyone who frequents festivals like Coachella
