Aim Response Curve Slope Scale - I Was Wrong

I made a post about Dynamic and the new setting, Aim Response Curve Slope Scale, a few days ago:

I mentioned that turning this value down was a way to slow the curve down, after choosing a high sensitivity to restore snappiness. It turns out I was incorrect.

An honest person admits when they were wrong and aims to correct their mistakes. When I initially tested the new setting, I just assumed “lower equals slower”. But I was tired and didn’t think this through. What Aim Response Curve Slope Scale does, is effect how aggressive the curve is. With Dynamic, 1 is a strong reverse S-shape, 0 is close to a flat line - aka, linear.

So in actual fact, turning it down actually increases the responsiveness of the curve. The best way to find your optimal settings, imo, is to set it to 0 which is at its fastest. Then find the snappy sensitivity of choice. After, slowly turn up Aim Response Curve Slope Scale by 0.05 to improve the smoothness and accuracy, until you rarely miss.

From my own testing; 0.00 - 0.35 feels more like Vanguard, 0.36 - 0.70 feels more like MWII. Experiment and find a comfortable value. This new setting is actually amazing. As no curve is perfect. Everyone has different sized thumbs and reaction times, tuning a curve to your own comfort level is actually an elite feature. Apex Legends has had this for years and I’m happy CoD developers have adopted it.

I hope this is helpful!
