Moving to CLE worth a pay cut?

So we currently live in California and earn about $400K a year. We've been offered a package deal to move to Cleveland for $240K a year. It's a big income hit, but also a big change in cost of living - my partner is practically frothing at the mouth at the opportunity to actually buy a house rather than rent. Trying to do the calculus here.. is $240K enough to feel comfortable in Cleveland?
