Creative Help Cleaning Dog Puke

Hello everybody! I've been a lurker for this sub and have always loved how helpful you all are. I've learned a lot, but now I need personal guidance from you cleaning wizards.

You'll see in the picture that my poor dog unfortunately vomited at some point while I was napping. Poor thing must have tried to leave in time but couldn't. I do not have access to any special machines to help remove the vomit from the carpet specifically. I do have some cleaning supplies here that I could potentially use, but I'm very limited as I'm basically a broke college student. Essentially, what would you suggest is your poor man's way to clean this efficiently, and any additionally cleaning supplies you think I should buy that are affordable?
