GMT suggestions - college aged child will be living in another country for next 5 months

My daughter will be living out the country for the next five months. In my watch loving mind I was thinking wearing a GMT would help me feel closer, track the time difference, and give me a reason to buy another watch. I am going to my child horribly but she is incredibly excited. I was hoping for some suggestions in the 38-40 mm range. Other than that all options are on the table. Focusing on the watch hunt - as we all know- makes everything just a little better. Help please!
