What food can’t be resisted?? I need help!
My boy is overcoming a gastrointestinal illness and is getting back on his feet. He had stopped eating entirely, so I had to syringe feed him, which he did NOT like. He’s interested in food now, but anything I put in front of him, he loses interest. I made the mistake of feeding him some human food (cheese, peanut butter on a cracker, cheerios, toast crust) just because I was desperate to get calories in him. I’ve tried wet food (chicken and beef stew) but he’ll just have a few licks. I’ve tried his normal kibble toppings of yogurt and pumpkin powder, but he wasn’t interested. I’ll keep syringe feeding him if I must, but he really hates it and it makes a mess.
Any ideas?? (Yes, he’s been to the vet and I spent nearly $1k on his care)
