Did I quit or was I fired?

Okay before I start I’m almost 30 years old. So today randomly out of know where the manager came around asking “some” people for their phone and with no warning, this has never been done since I’ve worked there (since June). At first she was just asking the kids, which makes sense because they are always on their phones. She then came to me and “demanded” that I give her my phone, I confused, because I have never once pulled out my phone while on the clock asked why, she said it’s the rules and I then refused , and explained that I cannot because my mother has seizures/memory issues and that I need to be able to see if she tries to call me, and simply giving her the number to the store wasn’t enough because in a crisis she knows to call my phone. Well when I refused they went to call the owner and tell her that I refused, I was sent home and told “I don’t know when you will be back”. I was scheduled to work Saturday 8-5pm so I took that as to not come to work tomorrow, so I after I left, i released my shift because I just assumed that’s what I needed to do, wasn’t told to, It was picked up and approved.

The owner hasn’t contacted me, did I quit or was I fired? Or is it still undecided.

And listen before y’all start tearing me apart for whatever reason just know that I already know. Also if this “having to put you phone in a lockbox” was a thing when I was hired I would have not chosen this job.
