Pay check today, groceries tomorrow—need some $money$ saving advice.

Groceries are expensive over here (NYC). I’ve had celiac almost two years, and I still find myself spending SO much more money than I would like on groceries. I like to bake, so all the GF flour probably doesn’t help.

I know I could eat meat and potatoes and save a whole bunch, but I’m not going to do that. I wish I could buy store brand stuff, but I feel a deep obligation to shell out for the products that are labeled GF (thing like butter, canned tomato sauce, cheese, etc).

How have you been successful saving money on groceries? Coupon clipping? Shopping at different stores? Starve?
