Why do you like this game?
Why is this game so appealing?
I've been thinking about why I love this game so much - I've never stuck with an idle game or indeed any game before. The main reason I think is the quality and consistency of the art and design - yes the cats are so cute (which again is the design quality) and I love cats so that's a big part of it but there are lots of other cat games.
With this one it's the way the entire world is so beautifully designed and animated and every bit, from each cat to each bit of furniture and each station and each rest area and each event fits perfectly and has the same aesthetic and gives the sense of a coherent world. Whoever oversees this game deserves a lot of credit. Other games seem crude by comparison.
This image to me is a great example of their attention to detail - my hollow shorthair is chilling at the vacation spot and of course you can see the stripes of the chair through her body. It's that kind of thing that keeps delighting me.
