If Carrie Ever Decided to Pivot Her Content, What Would That Look Like?

I've been a longtime viewer of Carrie, dating all the way back to her "storytime" days. While I definitely preferred those videos over her fashion-focused content, I stuck around because her personality is, for the most part, pretty nice and fun. Just a relatively, nice, fun, relatable, girl who happened to be a youtuber. I think that was a good "brand" for her.

When she transitioned into thrifting and mid-size/plus-size fashion content, I appreciated her tips for finding clothes when thrifting or shopping. Her collabs with Alexa Sunshine83 were also highlights for me since Alexa's style was a bit closer to what I personally enjoy.

That said, over the past year and a half, I've found both of their content to feel incredibly repetitive. It seems like every video is either "de-influencing you," "thrift hauls," or "closet cleanouts." The content has become so predictable that I’m just not excited to watch anymore because I already know exactly what I'm going to get. On top of that, both Carrie and Alexa’s content feels obviously very consumer-driven. Carrie’s style, in particular, seems very trend-based and surface-level rather than deeply personal.

I recently came across this subreddit out of curiosity, and honestly, I’m relieved to know I’m not the only one who feels this way. Here’s my question for the community:

If Carrie were to pivot her channel into something else, what could that look like? I think she’s likable enough to keep doing this, and there’s definitely potential for her to create more engaging content—but something needs to change because I'm kind of just over it.

What are your thoughts? I don't see her ever going to back to story time, but her as a ~fashion giry~ just ain't cutting it.
