MOT advisories on used car
Looking at buying a used car in the next couple of days and I came across a ford focus mk2 registered in 2010. It is from a private seller, however reasonably priced. The listing does advise that the car may need a new battery, but this is factored into the price. Comes with full service history, however the last MOT had a few advisories
. Rear Coil spring corroded both (5.3.1 (b) (i))
. Front Sub-frame corroded but not seriously weakened (5.3.3 (b) (i))
. Rear Sub-frame corroded but not seriously weakened (5.3.3 (b) (i))
. Vehicle structure is corroded but structural rigidity is not significantly reduced general underbody corrosion (6.1.1 (c) (i))
. Central Brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material (1.1.11 (c))
Is there any major concerns I should be having? I will be taking a mechanic with me to inspect the vehicle as I honestly don't know the most about cars
